The crescent has been sighted in Saudi Arabia (the land of the birth of our beloved Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم who fully conveyed the Religion of Islaam to us), and confirmed by the Supreme Judiciary Council. Thus Eid is tomorrow (Tuesday 30th August 2011). We’ll be holding the Eid prayer at Albert Park (Near the lake – the roller skating rink). Be there at 8 a.m. sharp and don’t forget to bring your own mats (to put on the ground)!
