Video description: Note: This talk is based on the works of the noble Shaykh Abdul-Rahman ibn Nasir al-Sa’di (d. 1376H, rahimahullah) and was translated and delivered by Abu ‘Iyaad Amjad Rafiq (hafidhahullah) in Middlesbrough (UK) during Ramadaan 1428H (September 2007) which was uploaded a few years later.
This talk is a general reminder (during Ramadaan), centred around Eemaan, Taqwaa and related issues. Abu Iyaad goes through some of the verses in the Qur’an and the commentary of Shaykh Abdul-Rahman ibn Nasir al-Sa’di (rahimahullah), who was one of the teachers of Shaykh Uthaymeen (d. 1421H, rahimahullah). One such verse is the following:
“And to Allah belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth. And verily, We have recommended to the people of the Scripture before you, and to you (O Muslims) that you (all) fear Allah, and keep your duty to Him, But if you disbelieve, then unto Allah belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth, and Allah is Ever Rich (Free of all wants), Worthy of all praise.” [4:131]
